We are seeking an ambitious and career minded applicant to join our team in Eastbourne. John Whippy Insurance Brokers wish to appoint an individual who would like a career in Insurance. Experience is preferred but it is not essential as training will be provided.

The Personal Insurance Advisor Role involves managing our existing portfolio of clients, dealing with the renewals and any changes in their requirements to their policy and to also help assist with any claims.

You will also be expected to develop new business enquiries, provide insurance advice and to liaise with insurance companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your responsibilities and duties as an Insurance Consultant are:

• Managing client relationships to ensure high renewal retention and client growth
• Assist with the notification and handling of claims
• Service the clients’ policies during the year including policy amendments
• Liaising with insurance companies
• Building your knowledge of the insurance market to help keep up to date with any changes in the market
• Conducting quotations for clients which includes obtaining material information that applies to the risk to be insured
• Dealing with client problems which includes investigating and solving the issue
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Insurance Experience (Preferred)
• Have a good level of Maths and English
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Customer Service and/or Administration Experience (Preferred)

JOB DETAILS

Job Type: Full Time/Permanent – On-Site

Salary: £20k - £24k depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Holiday: 21 days plus Bank Holidays
