BT Redcare, the leading alarm signaling service in the UK for fire and theft protection, will be closing down. It's expected that more than 100,000 users will need to upgrade their alarm systems to ensure continued operation before the closure on August 1, 2025.

Many users might delay this upgrade until the last minute. Therefore, it's crucial for you to make the transition early to avoid any service disruptions and ensure they remain protected.

What's the next step?

Any replacement alarm system should meet the same specifications and be installed by a company regulated by either the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), which includes the National Approval Council for Security Systems (NACOSS), or a company regulated by the Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board (SSAIB). Additionally, it should be under an annual maintenance contract.
